In 2025, the market for pipeline valves and fittings will undergo rapid transformation. This is due to growing investment in infrastructure projects and the modernization of industrial facilities.
Trends include the active automation and digitalization of production processes. At the same time, the industry faces challenges such as fluctuating raw material prices and increased competition from foreign manufacturers, notes Tebiz Group.
The Russian Pipe and Fittings Market
Last year, approximately 221,000 tons of plastic (polymer) pipes and fittings were produced in Russia, according to TK Solutions. This is almost 60% less than the 2023 target. The average annual decline in production from 2017 to 2024 was 3%. The RUPEC Information and Analytical Center also reports that 1,082,000 tons of plastic pipes, tubes, hoses, and fittings were produced in Russia in all of 2024.
The Central Federal District leads in production volume (43% of production for the same period), followed by the Volga Federal District (25%). Production of plastic (polymer) pipes and fittings in January 2025 decreased by approximately 17% compared to January 2024, amounting to only 23,000 tons. In February 2025, approximately 75,000 tons of polymer pipes were produced, a 7% decrease compared to the same month in 2024.
The decline in production may be related to the situation with housing construction. Its volume in Russia in June 2025 amounted to 7.5 million square meters. This is 22% less than in June 2024, according to Rosstat. In the first half of 2025, construction volume in the country amounted to 52 million square meters.
The pipeline valves market in Russia

The Russian pipeline valve market has high growth potential but faces a number of challenges, according to Alto Group. Market leaders include large Russian companies such as Penztyazhpromarmatura, TMK, and Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant. Trends include increased demand for high-tech products, the development of automation and digitalization systems, energy efficiency, and the environmental friendliness of materials and structures. Sanctions, currency fluctuations, and rising raw material costs are unfortunately having a significant impact on product prices.
As for specific figures, TK Solutions cites the following data. In 2024, Russian companies produced 100,199,118 thousand rubles of pipeline valves, a 40% decrease compared to 2023. The leading federal district in Russia for production is the Volga Region (34% of production). Pipeline valve production in January 2025 increased by 34% compared to the previous year, reaching 14,427,364 thousand rubles.

Despite some challenges, the pipe, fittings, and valve market has promising growth prospects. New GOST standards are emerging, and investment potential is projected to reach approximately 30 billion rubles by 2030. Government support is also having a positive impact on the market. The industry faces ambitious goals to increase production, reduce import dependence, strengthen cooperation, generate demand, and find alternatives. During such turbulent periods, companies that adapt quickly will reap significant advantages.
The exhibition is an effective tool for businesses that want to remain at the forefront. Present your equipment and services, including pipes, valves, and fittings, at Aquaflame, the International Exhibition of Domestic and Industrial Equipment for Heating, Water Supply, Plumbing Systems, Pools, Saunas, and Spas. In 2025, the exhibition was attended by over 27,800 professionals, 93% of whom influence purchasing decisions.
The Aquaflame exhibition featured a dedicated product line dedicated specifically to pipes, fittings, and valves. Almost every second visitor—more than 13,350 professionals—was interested in these products.
